Was anybody working in fire alarm before getting into the elevator union?

Before you got in the elevator union. What did you do and went out your way to get in? How many locals did you apply too? How many hours did you drive? ETC. Im going to do everything to try and get into the king of all trades.

Im 28 years old and I feel like im old trying to join the elevator union. I was being a fool after high school and in my early 20s.

What age were you guys when you passed your aptitude test?

I just failed my elevator entry exam and I’m so bummed out man.. I studied for almost a month and took it this morning and failed it. I been in bed since.. 💔 I have to wait 2 years before I can try again.. I’m devastated.. anyone else failed and passed on their second try?

How many stories was the highest building you guys worked in? Being an elevator constructor is such a dope job I day dream about being an elevator constructor every single day driving to my job!

Why ya swear up and down the entry aptitude test is easy… There has to be some hard parts on the test….. Some people even say they didn’t study mean while I’m studying ever night!

Does anybody know why they moved the date it was supposed to be may 2027 and now it’s June 2026

Do I need my high school diploma or transcript or both for the application process?
