Contractor beware! Sundale Senior Living - 1730 Woodstead Court, The Woodlands, Texas, does not pay for work that was approved and performed. This facility location called and engaged our company to perform repairs, approved the repairs before work was done, and, once invoiced for the work, refused to pay, stating that the maintenance director who approved the work was no longer at the facility. As a contractor who completed the approved repairs, we are not responsible for their staff turnover. I provided all required approval signatures. When they could not deny that the work was completed and signed off, their accounting department then wanted to negotiate the repair cost. The lady I was dealing with actually told me .... we will pay what we believe it should cost, as they deem what is acceptable for the repair cost!!! Are you kidding me! Don't do work for them unless they pay a percentage up front because they will not pay you in full.
This facility will scam the contractor. I don't care how big they say they are. Honest companies do not cheat the contractors.
