Straight MC realizes he is not so straight
Hello! I am looking for books recommendations in which MC1 is someone who is raised to be 'straight' by a homophobic past or simply his job doesnt allow it gets his world flipped by MC2 who unknowingly/ mistakenly shows him the other side.
MC2 could be anyone employee/old friend/ better a rival. Or MCs could meet each other at a pub/working hours.
MC1 should be more established in life than MC2 like a mafia boss or respected law enforcer or politician, or weathly old businessman or military. It makes the reason to be 'straight' more reasonable because he never considered anything else.
It could be wonderful if MC1 struggles with the concept that he likes to be with another man. All his life he took decisions and had people depend on him, follow him. That man belonging to his station shouldnt enjoy being under another, people expect him to be 'straight'. But slowly accepts the fact that their is someone to take care of him, may it be a man.
That it took one man, MC2 to unravel it all. Make him realise that he might be gay and fuxk all the expectations from his status and position.
Both MCs should have personality... no doormat MCs please.
For idea, they dont strictly follow the description:
{Uneven by Anah Crow} the dynamic is so good!
{Hot wings by Eli Easton, Tara Lain}
{Burn this city by Aleksandr Voinov}
{Work Strictly Professional by Jesse H Reign}
{Kiss the villian by Rina Kent}
{Just a bit wrecked by Alessandra Hazard}
{Special Forces by Aleksandr Voinov}
{Desperately delicate viper by KM Neuhold}
Bonus if it includes anyone or mulitple:
Bi-awakening, Coming out of closet (much later in life), Size difference
Divorced, Initial homophobia, 30+ age.
Law enforcer/ Mafia/ Boss-employee/ President-Secret service/ Rich man- Poor man.
Buff men please!
