For IITK SPCOM PhD admissions, do they ask you your prefered area during interviews? Like I feel I am more confident in math and programming than signals/communication and it is mentioned that candidates will be assessed in 4 areas so can I just go ahead w basic math, probability, LA and programming or will they still asking me signals and communication part
