I need a sanity check... I have been actively working my whole career, head down, creating all modern styles of projects.. DI, service style architecture, asynchronous, .net 9, mvvm, blazor, nosql, webapi, etc..

I am looking for a new role and I feel like i can not answer basic questions, such as:
What are managed and unmanaged pieces of code? Explain code compilation in C#.,What's serialization? What are some common places to find a deadlock? What's the primary use of delegates? etc..

I am literally a blank, I have been working not taking c# courses... does anyone feel this way? I have 25yoe and I feel like I am toast

Guys... I have 25yoe, which to anyone who is fairly young sounds ancient... but let me tell you, 2001 was not that long ago, it goes by in the blink of an eye. I'm in my early 50s, same thing, sounds old but i'm in good shape, healthy, etc and still do most of the athletic things i did in my 30s...thats the good news.

I have learned consistently, worked in fast paced fintech environments where you survive and learn or you die, high stress - high reward, it makes you tough, so i am used to learning whatever it takes and I still do to this day, always learning.

I am facing the need for a new role and can not for the life of me get the energy together for leetcode which the new roles i'm looking at are requiring medium to hards, 6+ round grueling interviews, DSA, sys design, etc..

For the first time in my life i'm like screw this... i abs love nothing more than coding all day, am fine w/ ai, have created rag models from ground up, just can't energize to go through a LC grind - this is not stuff i used in my day to day, why do i need to be put through this hell for a new job, i guess i can consider going for lower pay lower assessment exam roles..

Who feels my pain? in similar spots? I could really use some support / commiserating. I'm not ready to retire, have family, college kids, etc and i'm young enough with a ton of energy, i'm not tired i'm just fed up and abs. refuse to LC grind at my stage.. Everyone in this group we are brothers and should support each other...
