A few years ago, I took a trip to my grandmas downstairs toilet and as I sat down, a red piece of Lego fell into the toilet bowl. I’d not been around Lego for years at this point and hadn’t been around anyone else who had.

Directly above the toilet was a lampshade, the old fashioned pleated kind which slanted down at an angle.

Still blows my mind to this day how it was even possible.

How it happened is beyond me. Any ideas?

I ask this because I’ve never stepped a foot wrong in my life. I smile at strangers, treat everyone with respect, do everything asked of me (within reason), don’t gossip, don’t lie, treat people with empathy and compassion, would literally give someone my last if they needed it.

Yet I never ever get the same treatment in return. It has been like this for as long as I can remember.

If karma really exists, why do I always get the short straw?
