Gray-hair reversal experiment
Has anyone here successfully reversed or slowed premature gray hair?
I'm female, currently in my mid-30s. My graying started around age 25-26 after a knee surgery. which was stressful. It was just 2-3 white hairs initially, so i didnt care, but in the past year they became more (check the photo)
My theory is that mine may be more related to oxidative stress, sympathetic nervous system activation, inflammation, and melanocyte dysfunction than purely genetics
I've recently started the following protocol:
- GHK-Cu scalp serum
- NAC 600mg daily + Glycine
- Copper bisglycinate (every other day)
- CoQ10
- Astaxanthin
- Weekly 0.25mm dermarolling
- Red light therapy/scalp massage
- Working on reducing caffeine/energy drinks and improving sleep/stress management
A few questions:
- Has anyone actually seen existing gray hairs regain pigment?
- If yes, what intervention do you think made the biggest difference?
- Has anyone experimented with any of the supplements I listed, and if yes, what was the outcome?
Interested in both success stories and failures. Trying to separate what's scientifically plausible from what's just wishful thinking. Thank you!
