Am I the only one who feels like app blockers miss the point?

HELP!

I’ve tried app blockers like Opal and even the Brick. They help a bit, but I still feel mentally tethered to my phone. It’s always within arm’s reach, and I always know I can get to it in 2 seconds (even if the most addictive apps are blocked).

I’m craving the feeling of genuinely putting my phone away and mentally switching off.

Does anyone else feel this?

Have you found anything that creates physical separation from your phone, and makes this feel rewarding rather than like you’re depriving yourself?
