what makes incest immoral\wrong?

a gay man here , and i've been down a rabbit hole lately watching debates about the morality of homosexuality and i noticed that conservative people who tend to be against homosexuality always bring up the incest argument to declare that love is not an excuse for having legitimacy of intimate relationships , ive been thinking about it A LOT , ofc i'm not talking about the case where incest results in children that's obviously wrong , but if two grown people of the same family decided to get intimate with each other and have a sexual relationship (with no kids or offsrping) how can this be immoral and how is it different from queer relationships?

i started reading sylvia plath's the bell jar ,but....

basically as the title says i've just started reading it and i'm currently in chapter 2 , the thing is i don't fully understand it ,the book is obviously dense and packed with metaphorical and literary expressions , and frankly my english isn't that great so i'm torn up between three things, reading it even though it feels like an uphill battle to look for the meaning of the words or just drop it for now and come back to it once my english gets better and god knows when , or just reading it on a more superficial level and not having to look for the meaning of every word and sentence ;;; what do y'all think ???
