Ngl I like series that have more chapters and long, but in recent years I begin to think that most stories would be better with a tighter story and writing if they were shorter.

This applies more to the 'new gen' manga, you see that so many writers start milking their stories after a point only to extend the story for the sake of it, but nothing good comes out of it, it actually drags down the writing quality instead. This was the case with Chainsaw man, and I'd argue now Dandadan and Sakamoto Days are also suffering from it.

CSM Part 2 was unnecessary, so many chapters in Sakamoto Days are wasted on nothing, and Dandadan's current arc alongside the amnesia thing don't seem to have a proper writing or endgame point rather than prolonging the tired love-romance drama.
