American Home Shield

If I could get some advice please.
I recently went on a vacation for a couple of months and when I returned, I saw some water leakage thru the ceiling of garage.
I called American home shield for w hich I've been paying premiums for nearly 4 years to fix the issue.
They dispatched a plumbing contractor and the issue was resolved but they left giant holes on the ceiling and the second floor wall to diagnose and fix the issue.
When I called American home shield on Aug 5 they said they'll assign a vendor to contacg me in 24-48 hrs to schedule a dispatch.
I didn't hear anything from them until today, so I decided to call back. They said they already provided a cash in-lieu offer on Aug 6 because they couldn't find a local vendor. They didn't call or send a email to me regarding the offer.
The issue is, the cash offer is nowhere near the quote that I received from a local vendor. It's roughly 1/5 of the quote so I called American home shield again to explain. But all they said was that was the only offer and the only amount that they could offer. I asked to speak to escalation team, they said the same thing and hung up on me saying nothing else could be offered.
I mean what is the point of have insurance premium if the damage caused by the vendor the sent isn't even covered?
I'm just very frustrated.
