Hey everyone! Taking my new Model 3 on its first big road trip: Dallas → San Francisco. We’ll have our dog with us and plan on taking about 3-4 days to make it a bit of a scenic trip.

Specific questions for the pros:

1. Route: Better to take I-40 through Amarillo/ABQ or I-20/I-10 through El Paso/Phoenix? I am leaning towards I-40.
2. Charging: How good is the charging network? Any range anxiety issues on this route? Any specific "must-stop" Superchargers that have good amenities or are particularly dog-friendly?
3. Dog Tips: Any specific gear or settings (besides Dog Mode) that made your life easier?
