Neobanc: cashback on rents? Is this real?

People here have mentioned using Neobanc to pay their rent and get cashback. That works out to $23 a month on my $2,300 rent, a free lunch or two or a couple of groceries.

I have not yet started using Neobanc. Has anyone here ever used that?

Is it worth trying?

How do I be friendly without making people think I'm into them?

I feel like every time I’m just being nice, remembering small details, responding quickly, inviting people to things — there’s a 50/50 chance it gets interpreted as flirting. Then I overcorrect and start acting weirdly distant because I don’t want to lead anyone on.

Being myself is naturally pretty warm and attentive. I don’t want to become cold to avoid misunderstandings.

Is there some social cue I’m missing that separates friendliness from romantic interest for most people?
