Badly depleted in neurotransmitters but I just thought that was my personality

Hey guys,

I’m a 32 year old male from India. Height 168cm, weight 63kgs.

I basically got a 1.25 as my Rych Index score from the gut microbiome test. And here’s the interesting part that totally took my by surprise - I’ve covered all bases when it comes to lifestyle. I wake up early, have been working out everyday for 15 years (not like heavy strain workouts but for good, healthy fitness), do yoga, meditate almost everyday, eat just two meals a day (vegetarian dishes that are homemade traditional Indian dishes). And I eat two meals a day which means I’m in a good fasted state most of the time.

Assuming that I was doing all the “right things”, I thought I’d have great gut health.

But yes, there were signs like my tongue being coated in white, burping a bunch of times a day, not having super regular stools (just fairly regular).

The test tells me I’m non-ideal in vital neurotransmitters like dopamine, GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), serotonin, norepinephrine, tryptamine and tryptophan.

What’s done is done - and now I want to figure out a vegetarian diet which can help me fix these problems. Especially the neurotransmitters.

My mental health is pretty good, so this was a shocker. Any advice or recommendations on this will be awesome. Thanks in advance. 🙏
