Rising sophomore here from a target school. I had an internship in strategy consulting where I did some valuation and secured an internship this summer with a finance-adjascent consulting firm focused on modeling post-merger integration. None of these are at banks, so most of my finance exposure has come through self-study and clubs. Got pretty solid techincals though. I only realized I was strongly interested in IB last fall, so my resume isn't as finance-heavy as some other students recruiting from my school. Wondering whether these experiences are enough for me not to get screened out, or whether I should add a search fund internship on top of my existing one or something else to signal more concrete interest.
