For reference, 24F, 120lbs, 5’1”. Eat very good, limited processed foods, exercise regularly - 4 days strength training, 2 days cardio / hiit. Walking 16k-20k steps a day. I’ve been tracking nutrition since January, eating between 1500-1800 calories in a calorie deficit. High protein.
Up until 2024, my period was very regular. I never had bad symptoms or irregularities. At the start of 2024, my period became irregular. Skipping some months and normal cycle other months. For the past 2 years, it has been inconsistent. In 2025, I went 4 months without bleeding. I’m now at 3 months without bleeding (last period January 2026).
I went to a gyno, ruled out pregnancy, did 2 blood panels, and an internal ultrasound. Nothing out of the ordinary came from the ultrasound. My blood panels came back relatively normal.

What am I missing?! Doctor says my only option is birth control, which I think would just be a band aid. Has anyone else had these issues and how did you manage?
