Ppto and write up
Hello I’ve been a pharmacy tech for about 3 years now.
I use 15 mins ppto every other day, I commute an hour to work. Sometimes I’m a little later than 15 mins where I get half a point
Anyway yesterday I left work after lunch feeling terrible. Huge head ache and tiredness and cough. I only had 1 hour so I got .5 which put me at 4.5
Well my manager told me that he has to give me a write up.
Or else I would get terminated
He said ppto should be used for sick days not frequent tardiness. Which I understand
What got to me, is that I’m always there running the pharmacy literally
Helping the line, training, sending back expired meds, translating. I go on my days off to help, sometimes I work 6 days a week.
But I still get a write up. I work amongst sloths who get in the way. And takes them hours to get their work done
