B1/B2 rejected at Mumbai consulate on 8th may
Hey guys, this sub helps a lot, but during my interview, I got nervous and fumbled when answering my question about why I am going to the US. I have a proper reason for going, but I was unable to explain it clearly to the VO, and she rejected me. Now, I want to go to SF eagerly.
Can someone suggest if there are any chances to apply again with the same reason?
I need to leave India and want to apply again from the UAE. Is it possible to get a visa in my situation? Also, is the US embassy in the UAE open or still closed?

I applied for the first time for a B1/B2 US visa, invited by Y Combinator (YC) Summer School, with travel history to UAE and Oman (UAE resident visa).
Currently doing my Master's in UAE
Only one question: why are you going to the US? and nothing more, she asked me.
The conversion between me and the VO was hardly 1 minute.
