Why do Rathods and shekhwats marry each other or vise-versa most?
I have seen this pattern a lot at least where i am from, Rathod would prefer marrying shekhwats or shekhawat marrying rathod. I hardly saw them marrying into other prominent clans and i have also heard them that they would prefer if the partner is a rathod/shekhwat depending on which on they are. I just can't understand this pattern, when i ask no one explains me and just says that it's a preference, is there any other more significant reason behind this?
