Hey everyone, I’ve been fly fishing for a couple years here and there. My partner just got into it and we are taking a trip out to Taos, NM. We were intending on doing some hiking, but now that we’ve done our first fly fishing trip he’s wanting to do some more. Anyone have any recommendations in NM? I’m not familiar with any places near Taos that would be good fishing.
Hello! I am a complete beginner, this is my first ever piece. I went to a local mom and pop to get my copper tape (support small businesses y’all) and based on this thread, I feel like something may be not right either with the tape or the way I am applying it. I have all the tools, i scraped with a flat tool on top and edges, my glass is textured so the copper is a little bubbly looking in some areas.
I’ve really only watched a couple videos on reels to educate myself on the process of crafting a piece. I know the soldering process is going to take some practice and has a lot of factors that can effect its look. One being the copper application, age & quality. Is there something I can do to make this better or am I okay to proceed with soldering?
