Hi, I'm 20, I wanted to share this in case it helps other young bucks who think that investing is only meant for those on huge incomes.

I work in Tesco and earn an average of around €350/week. Around 5-7 months ago, I began seriously investing from absolutely scratch. Currently, I have managed to accumulate around €3.3k worth of ETFs and regularly invest €225 a week.

My investment strategy is simple:

Vanguard FTSE All World Accumulating as the main pillar.
Starting to diversify by introducing Nasdaq 100 Accumulating for more volatility.

I’m not trying to become a trader or get rich overnight. I’m just trying to build wealth slowly and have myself in a good position later down the line.

I have a small car loan through the credit union, still enjoy life, still go out sometimes etc. I’m not living like a monk.

Even being able to put away €20-€50 a week will help in the long run.

Not financial advice obviously, just wanted to show another young person’s perspective because social media makes it seem like everyone either:
* has no money,
* or is pretending to be a millionaire trader.

Most wealth building is just:
earn, invest consistently, avoid stupid debt, and stay patient.

Questions welcome of course, fire away!
