Can I apply for the ESA?
I'm a transgender teenager currently living in the USA, and I'm planning to get out of here as soon as I can. I've always been incredibly interested in space exploration and astrophysics, but I can't trust that I'll be safe enough in the USA at this point with the way the country is trending, especially working for a government organization like NASA.
So could I, if I immigrate to a member nation, and gain full citizenship and everything that comes with immigration, apply for the ESA? Is it citizenship based or do you have to be a native of a member nation?
I am just trying to figure this out now so I can work towards my best, safest option while I'm still in high school.
