A lot of talk about the Mr. Beast thing, how it was useless and how we could’ve donated that money to Africa for people who actually need it, etc.
But we don’t even know what the event was for. Mr. Beast posted about it again today, I think? There’s no way Namit is gonna use a connection like that and just let it go to waste. Same thing with the marketing and assets. Stfu and let things happen at their own pace. With the Mr. Beast thing, at least let’s see what the team is actually trying to do with it. You’re writing everything off as a failure without even knowing their intent or seeing the outcome.
I feel like a lot of people need to get off their high horses. I don’t give an opinion on everything because I don’t feel like it’s my place to have an opinion on everything. Yet I constantly see people giving opinions on shit they don’t even know about.
And then with the whole Godzilla thing. You’re busy hyping their film, and that’s not an issue either, but you do it at the expense of Ramayana. Don’t pull something down just to talk highly about something else. Ramayana has a lot going for it but it’s reduced to nothing when these comparisons are made
And the Varanasi/SSR dick-riding in this sub is toxic af. SSR this, SSR that. He can piss off for all I care. I come here for Ramayana and there’s always these SSR fans hating. I would want to say South Indian fans but I don’t want to generalise, but it is true to an extent because South India was always proud of the fact Bahubali was the one that took Indian cinema global first. Let me assure you, we are all proud if that’s the case and that achievement will never be overshadowed. Fuck North and South for once for fuck sakes, it’s Indian Cinema for a reason. I have grown up watching it all. I genuinely don’t understand why every discussion has to turn into comparing this film to something else or using another film to shit on Ramayana.
I’ve said this so many times respectfully that I just don’t know how to say it any other way now: please calm the fuck down and be a bit more mature about everything. Let the team actually do what they’re trying to do before writing everything off.
I've been looking forward to new assets and footage, but since we haven't had much so far and promos are apparently about to begin, I figured I'd contribute to the hype with what we have.
