Need vet help, Orlando area
Corgi, female, 19 months old, 25 lbs
She broke her left hind leg about 2 weeks ago (jumped on a bench and her leg got stuck between the boards).
She was seen at VEG ER on April 15 and Animal Medical Clinic on April 20. X-rays were done and she was prescribed Gabapentin, Rimadyl, and Tramadol.
For the past 3 days she has barely been eating, which is really worrying.
We were told she needs surgery (~$5,600) or possibly amputation.
I’m trying to get another opinion and see if there are any more affordable vets in the Orlando area, or if anyone has experience with similar injuries healing without surgery.
Any recommendations or advice would really mean a lot. Thank you.
