Reality editors, share your experience!

Hello, everyone!

I'm a reality TV editor working on some of the biggest productions in my country. My job includes both working on set with the cast and handling post-production, where I shape all the footage into a complete episode.

I've been working in post-production for 6 years and on set for 3 years. So far, I've worked on 6 major reality TV projects on set and dozens on post.

I'd love to exchange experiences and hear your tips and tricks:

  1. Field/Story Editors: How do you deal with difficult cast members on set who refuse to give interviews or become demanding and uncooperative?
  2. Post-Production Editors: How on earth do you stop editing late into the night and finally train yourself to stick to a healthy work schedule?
