Two weeks of 24/7 itching (fibro-hernia and atypical facial pain sufferer) - nerve or medication side effects?
So I have been suffering with chronic pain for a while now. 4 months ago I locked my back and had not been able to regain full motion. A small hernia was found but it shouldn’t be giving me all this pain and stiffness. So we decided to
up Lyrica, Rivotril and Contramal (already present in my therapy since 2024) and added Sirdalud (now stopped) one month ago. For the past week I’m experiencing 24/7 itching in my face, head, neck, back, hands/legs…it never ending and it stops only when I go to sleep and starts as soon as I wake up. There is nothing on my skin, it’s not an allergic reaction to anything I put on my body, I changed soaps and stopped using makeup. No change. Do you think it might be the hernia making the nerve go crazy? I went down with the medication to the pre locked back but it’s not stopping. I tried all the lotions and creams I have but it doesn’t do anything, I can put on creams as much as I want, it just doesn’t stop.
