Turn down apprenticeship?

Currently working on the civil side (still union) on a very predictable 5-10s schedule and with a clear path up the ladder. Just got offered MSL apprenticeship on a 6-12s. Honestly don't care to work 70+ hours/ week.

$ wise - make a little over $100k rn, apprenticeship would be close to $200k (6-12s for a year)

Thoughts/ advice?

Lineman vs Civil/ Drilling route

Would I be making a mistake by saying no to the apprenticeship and just staying on the civil/ underground side of things and working my way up the ladder eventually to Foreman ?

Have about 2000 hours underground, pretty competent at what I do (building vault tops and trenching to install conduit) and about to make EO - . Ranked 9 for Mountain states, but thinking of declining; far prefer 'construction' (aka building things) to wiring/ fixing outages etc.

Would really appreciate guys with experience opinion on this
