Just bought a 1200+ chip set($40 on marketplace) what's the best/optimal set up for a cash game?

Got a group of about 8 ppl interested in playing cash at home. Getting tired of the sit & go style tournament we usually play. Cheap buy in around $20 (10¢/20¢) would be best to start with my group, looking towards 25¢/50¢. This would be my first time running and will be taking on all responsibilities (not sure what that all entails)

Was also thinking about Max buy for 200bbs total? Thanks for any help!
