“In Pieces” - Ohio female key.
So this was just a thought i had and wanted to see if it was an outlandish idea.
Recently, I had this idea to put Ohio in my book. (because I’m obsessed with the piece, and it matches some of the main character types im looking to pursue) I also feel transposing it into my vocal range (I’m a slightly low-leaning mezzo) would stunningly show some of my vocal colours and expressivity.
So I guess my main question is: Have any of you done this before/is it ok for me to do even though it’s a male tenor repertoire piece?
