So we want to put three raised beds 244x80x70cm in our backyard but it’s south and slightly east facing. It gets good sun from Sept-March but is quite shaded in winter due to varying degrees of being blocked by the house. The closer you go to a huge 25+m angophora this time of year the more sun it gets but initially I had them farther from it as it got good sun in March.

I’ve aligned them exactly north-south in the photo as I’ve read that’s ideal. Hoping to get some insight on the best positioning for our space? Looking for any other suggestions on what we could do to have a productive veggie patch.

Photos with two beds placed are from today May 20th at 12:30, and the other 4 are from March 5th at 9, 11, 12:30, and 5. I had one at 4 which actually had decent sun and could add if helps.
