Girl kicked out of Richmond
Hey everyone.
I attended the Richmond concert for the Djo tour and just simply had to get this off my chest. A girl got kicked out of the pit and is claiming she was not in the wrong. I can assure you, that was not the case.
This girl in question was a VIP and stationed herself near the back of the pit, while I was in about fourth or fifth row. During Lonesome, this girl decided to fully elbow and shove people to get to about row 2 or 3, pushing these young teenagers in the process. About 10 of us told security, who did nothing at the time. These two young ladies that were pushed looked very upset, and my friend took it upon herself to say something, because it was ruining her time that this girl had upset them so much. Allegedly, when the young lady asked for the girl to go back, she was pushed again.
When my friend confronted her, she acted like she couldn't hear her, until she said she would tell security. When security then confronted her, she was so rude to the point that they brought in law enforcement and carried her over the barricade. After that, I supposed she was kicked out.
This girl then had the audacity to say she did nothing wrong on her socials and said she just "walked up to the pit." Mind you, she shoved multiple people, including myself and many children. Then apparently, she got a refund for her ticket.
Concert culture doesn't play about shoving, especially children. I thought she was either drunk or just ignorant and it turns out, the latter was correct.
Please protect each other at these concerts, especially these festivals. Shoving your way to the front of the pit doesn't get you Joe's attention. Rather, security will keep a very close eye on you.
