I have these 10 smaller and 2 large boxes that I used to store my items in the storage unit for two weeks. Completely new and I feel bad to discard them.

If anyone needs it please collect them from JVC.

Dear fellow residents,

I meet the minimum salary requirement for family sponsorship in the UAE, and currently my husband is under my sponsorship. My question is: would I also be able to sponsor my 14-year-old stepson?

I want to specifically mention that I am his stepmother, because I’m unsure whether the rules may differ for women sponsoring children in the UAE. I have not legally adopted him, so we do not have adoption documents.

However, we do have:
- A legalized NOC from his biological mother allowing me to sponsor his UAE residency
- Our legalized marriage certificate
- His birth certificate
- Passports and supporting documents

We are hoping to bring my stepson to live with us in Dubai, but before giving him false hope, we want to understand whether this is realistically possible and if anyone has gone through a similar process.

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who dealt with stepchild sponsorship in the UAE.
