Spent an hour and a half trying to find any truck with rec ports and finally found a set. These things are mint on the inside, all valves are straight, seats are perfect, just about as spotless as they can get on a junkyard motor. All for the sweet price of $75 a head.
I have an old 0 gold pump for a Ron’s flying toilet and need dire help with it. I made the switch from race gas to the alky setup a few years ago and the pump leaked out of the weep hole on top of not pumping much. So I tracked down procon who makes the pumps and has rebuild kits for them. However from Ron’s there was 3 sizes, 0, 0-1/2, and 1 but procon only sells one kit for this style pump so who knows which size it’s for.
The shaft spring seal is also different in the new kits. The old style is the one pictured and the new is a shorter style with different seal types so I doubt that’s doing me any favors. The vanes also seem to come up a bit short in my opinion and have a decent gap during its travel besides when it’s flush with the housing.
If anybody happens to be familiar with these and can let me some advice it would be extremely appreciated.
