I may have an idea on what will happen in the finale of the Beykingdom Arc…

So we know what the objectives are specifically for X and Dima:

X’s origins are tied to the Beykingdom and Dima’s goal is to become the next monarch.

For X, we could see his side of the family actually being as strong as him and when the finale happens, he finds out about his parents/relatives whereabouts in the Beykingdom which warrants him to not join in the final battle.

For Dima, he will take X’s place and it will be him, Bird, and Multi against the antagonist team.

In terms of a narrative sense, it makes sense because they already set up what they are going to do with X and Dima and if X was in the final battle instead and Dima ending up becoming a traitor to Team Persona, then we would have a problem. If Dima was plotting with the King or the evil princes, he wouldn’t go through the trouble of asking a high-ranking civil servant like Kiwami from the outside to be on his side. As for X, I feel that finding his real family should be a major plot point and not something to gloss over, considering that we still don’t know about X when we know more about Bird and Multi’s origins.

An interesting pattern in the Drake/Dragoon Line

Drake could be considered as the “1st Stage” that will finally become realized with its “Final Stage”- Dragoon.

  1. CobaltDrake -> CobaltDragoon

CobaltDrake has the iconic blade design of OG Dragoon in right-spin and CobaltDragoon takes that design further by changing to left spin. These 2 beys represent the Azure Dragon from Chinese Myth hence why they have “Cobalt” (meaning blue) in the names.

  1. ImpactDrake -> MeteorDragoon (revolving around rubber)

ImpactDrake (based on Dragoon F) introduces the rubber and MeteorDragoon (based on Meteo L-Drago) experiments more with the rubber. Also, when you combine the 2 words from Drake/Dragoon, it becomes “Meteor Impact.”

  1. DrakeBrave -> LusterDragoon (revolving around weight and height)

DrakeBrave features the Gravity Assist Blade which has metal on it and it’s also the heaviest Assist Blade for CX (surpassing Heavy). It also makes the Bey very tall. LusterDragoon is based on Longinus which is famous for introducing metal on the Layer and is also the heaviest Bey in that generation- which is the same for LusterDragoon being the heaviest BXE Blade so far. It also has a Low Bit to contrast with the tall Gravity Assist Blade.

One thing I noticed in the Season 4 Poster…

Seasons 1-3 was just called “Beyblade X” but now in Season 4, it is called “Beyblade X Beykingdom.”

The first three seasons are set in X City hence no name additions to the title in the posters. Season 4 and beyond will have the names of new major settings moving forward.

7 days left until the next Arc begins, what are your predictions?

I’ll start:

- The potential setting could be in Europe. There is another manga that the author worked on where the main setting is in a kingdom and that is High Card. The story is set in the Kingdom of Fourland that is comprised of 4 distinct regions in an island: Spada, Lazange, Sulfium, and Polo Stick. It is where a royal family guards a secret deck of 52 magical “X-playing cards” that grant superhuman abilities. For Beyblade X, however, there will be 9 regions to explore in Europe just based on the number of new Bladers in this teaser. Among those regions are 7 current Kingdoms in the continent: Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom. Surprisingly enough, there are only 7 Bladers wearing a crown to signify the 7 Kingdoms of Europe.

- The plot could be similar to High Card where it revolves around a “Legendary” Bey (Achilles homage) that is said to have the most powerful features and the only way to obtain this reward is to defeat the “Royal 7” in Europe. The story could start out with Team Persona traveling to a country that’s not a kingdom in Europe, but will be the starting point to enter the “X-Kingdom Challenge” and they will have to pass a test similar to the Kadovar Test from the first Arc of X where the first Bey to battle against could be CrocTread. After passing the test against Croc’s owner, Team Persona finally enters the X-Kingdom Challenge. After defeating the Royal 7, they will finally obtain the reward, but there is a big plot twist. This Legendary Bey is already obtained by a new Blader who happens to be the ninth one from the teaser and Team Persona will have to travel to the last country that’s not a kingdom just like the first country they visited.

Rest in peace, Peter Cullen (The Iconic Voice of Optimus Prime in the Transformers franchise)

Beyblade, Bionicles, and Nintendo were my childhood growing up, but I remembered watching Transformers: The Movie and hearing that iconic voice and it made me a fan of that franchise. It was so shocking to see the news of his passing man…

Till all are one.

The 7 Crowns Theory

In the recent teaser for Season 4, there are 9 Bladers and 7 of them are wearing Crowns.

The 7 Crowns have many meanings:

#1: The Seven Crowns match the number of stars in the constellation of Corona Borealis.

As it turns out, there already is a motif that is based on this constellation: Hell Crown from Metal Fight. This Bey is most specifically based on Greek Mythology where this Crown was given by Dionysus to the daughter of King Minos of Crete, Ariadne. With that being said, it would make a lot of sense for there to be a Hell Crown homage in this Kindgom Arc, but rather than making the motif look like a Crown with an eye on it, the motif should be more based on Ariadne herself wearing the Crown but still have a distinct design like from Persona.

#2: The Seven Crowns in the Bible.

In Revelations 12:3, there is a massive red dragon who has 7 heads, 10 horns, and 7 Crowns. This dragon is none other than Satan and there could be a Kreis Satan homage in this Arc, but in CXE form because BisonValor already has the gimmick so either the Over Blade or Assist Blade could have the roller gimmick.

#3: Out of the 7, only 5 Crowns are shadowed out, representing the Heavenly Crowns.

This is more about lore in the story rather than on the Beys themselves. These particular 5 Crowns could be in a group together that could represent the Top 5 in the world and the other 4 Bladers are completely unknown in terms of how they place in the rankings.

As for the 2 Bladers who aren’t wearing a Crown, one of them can own the Kreis Satan Homage while the other can own the Hell Crown Homage.

What could be the next Line after Expand?

BXE, UXE, and CXE are incredibly innovative and there is lots of potential to be had with this Expand Line. It may be too early to tell if TT will make a new Line for next year but just based on their track record in the past for all generations, they still find ways to evolve their systems. So I was thinking about how some people wanted gimmicks in Ratchets, but find it impossible due to how they are designed. However, I may have figured that problem out and what they could do for the next Line.

Introducing HMX- Hard Metal Line (name not final).

It’s a direct nod to the Hard Metal System from Bakuten Shoot and what makes this one different compared to the other Lines is that it will take aspects from each Line, but there is a catch. Since this Line directly takes the name from the old system, the Beys themselves will be slightly more compact. There are 3 parts to this (excluding the Bit):

- The Basic Blade is the top part of the Bey that is completely metal and will have 3 interlocking tabs. Just like with BX and BXE, the Basic Blades will naturally have more inward weight distribution.

- The Unique Ring is the center piece of the Bey that will have any gimmick attached to it. Gimmicks can range from free-spinning, rubber, bound attack, rollers, bearings, etc.

- The Custom Ratchet is the bottom part of the Bey which serves as a Blade Base to hold the Bey together that will have the Gear Chip lock it in place by using a locking tool specifically for this Line. Height will also vary for each Custom Ratchet.

In hindsight, HMX is basically the Balance Type for Lines. And it would be cool if someone were to replicate this Line.

Just a regular day in the Kurosu Family [Dispatch Edition]

Zero: Hello children. This is your dispatcher, Kamen 0. I will be making my grand entrance—

Kurosu Kids laughing

Five: Please tell me that’s not your stage name father?

Two: Are you for real father? You can’t be this stupid calling yourself that on your first speech, come on.

One: Yaps about the future during the conversation

Zero: Can we clear the channel please. This is embarrassing for me—

Three: I saw him once without the mask.

Five: Who? Kamen Rider 0?

Three: I really did see him without it.

Five: It was not his day? laughs

Three: No, he was completely embarrassed that I caught him red handed without that silly mask.

Zero: Again, please clear the channel—

Eight: We get it father, you’re the boss—

One: Still yapping about the future

Zero: sighs. Let’s just end it here and I will go make my speech to X City…

The course of history has changed, but…

Bird may have inadvertently doomed the world of Beyblade X in the events to come.

Zero’s mission was to save Beyblade but for what real reason? Maybe what he saw in the future would lead to the destruction of their world or the collapse of Beyblade as a whole. There could be a major threat coming and the Beys of the “current era” aren’t able to stop it. And so he engineered certain events to stop this impending doom. Firstly, he would have to destroy the pro system and replace it with his own. Secondly, create more advanced Beys to replace the old. And lastly, have the battles scripted in Zero’s favor so that potential Bladers can learn firsthand how intense and serious battles can be in order to prepare for the future.

With Bird acting as the “turning point” for this world after defeating Zero, the paths have been diverged, and Zero failed to stop the impending doom so now it is up to Bird and his team to keep the future alive for Beyblade and the world.

Bird Kazami’s Origin Story needs to be studied

Bird Kazami.

I have been “doom scrolling” on the internet and I’ve seen comments and replies feeling disinterested in this character, slandering this character, bashing the writers for holding this character hostage, and it’s all because of this world record 0 win streak that he has for 3 seasons straight.

But what if I were to tell you that all 3 seasons of Beyblade X is Bird’s entire origin story?

Before becoming a Pro and the leader of Team Persona, Bird was one of the best Bladers in his hometown. This was established in the beginning of the manga so Bird does have some wins under his belt, but he was catching fishes in a small pond. Once he got to the X Tower with his team (Albatross Strikers), it was a bigger pond of fishes. Confident in his Blading abilities, Bird battled Takumi and tasted his own medicine. He was not ready in the slightest to take on the peak of Beyblade. This was the most darkest day he has ever experienced and through that harsh experience, he met a masked fellow named Kamen X to form a new team to take on the X Tower. This new Team Persona fights against Takumi’s team and when Kamen X stepped up to the stage, something flickered in Bird’s eyes. The feeling of having fun with Beyblade. This flicker of hope ignited him to not give up just yet and that unyielding spirit has not failed him since then. Even with repeated losses for 3 seasons, Bird still pushes on because he is best at what he does- hard work and having fun.

The first season ended with a loss for Bird, but the lesson he learned here is that no matter the outcome, he had fun Blading and that there is always room for improvement.

The second season ended with a draw and this reflects Bird’s growth as a Pro Blader during this season.

The third season ended with a victory and this provided a big payoff for Bird and was greatly rewarded for all of his hard work. Thus officially concluding this one big origin story and a brand new journey is just about to begin for Bird Kazami.

Truly a full circle moment…

From a devastating loss, to an intense draw, and now to an absolute victory.

This was definitely the plan all along.

u/Infinitum_Orion — 2 months ago

Intentional or not, this is some insane foreshadowing.

In the first special chapter, we see that Bird is fighting against a Blue Dragon Bey (DranSword) and in the latest chapter, there is some confirmation that Zero will have DrakeBrave based on the shape of the Bey he is holding. With One defeating X, it is now up to Bird and his new Bey HellsNether who will face Zero with DrakeBrave (a Blue Dragon Bey that literally has the three-winged Main Blade of Dran) to decide who wins and who loses- calling back to this scenario battle finally coming to fruition intentionally or unintentionally.

“Korusu All-Stars” Team

So now we have the full roster of this team which consists of Zero, One, and Nine. Without going over why Nine joined this team, I will instead focus on what Beys they could have.

One having GloryValkyrie could be an interesting choice and it seems like it’s leaning more towards it rather than Zero owning it (which I initially thought that Zero was going to own it but both having the same GloryValkyrie would be very lazy in my opinion).

Nine will actually have ValkyrieVolt which we first saw in the teaser chapter of S3 and considering that the initial plot synopsis says about “armed with beys that symbolize Valkyries” it’s foreshadowing this team- buuut (and it’s an emphasis on ‘but’). With an army of Valkyries, there should always be an Odin to lead them into battle.

Odin is often characterized as this ‘master manipulator’ in Norse Mythology and in other media. Zero fits this characterization so perfectly since he effectively brainwashed all of his kids including Nine and is willing to sacrifice his children to get what he wants- just like Odin. So thematically, Zero will own a Odin Bey. There’s only 2 Burst homages in S3 so far: Valkyrie and Ragnarok. So Odin could be the third one. But realistically, he will just have a copy of GloryValkyrie considering the release schedule is very limited this summer compared to last summer when there were more Beys released.
