I was traumatized by Blindsight

I went into reading blind sight blind (ironically) and now im traumatized... I thought it was gonna be like space alien horror, which it was, but i didnt realize it was also gonna be the horrors of other things too. I get throught most of the book thinking " i dont know if I like siri man he seems kinda annoying". THEN I GET TO THE PART WHERE SARASTI CUTS HIS HAND AND ITS ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE. I'm at work, reading this, and poor siri is getting traumitezed by this Theseus/Jukka hybrid thing. I,m fighting back tears as im reading Siri talk about how much pain he's in and how awful it is and the crew betrayed him and shit as my boss is talking about emailing this person about managing the program he's running. All i want is for is for Keeton to be ok. Then he talks to his fellow crewmates and their lowkey comforting him and cunningham is being sweet and I'm like; "omg, this book is finally getting better. Siri is gonna make some friends". AND THEN EVERYONE FUCKING DIES, AND KEETON IS FLOATING IN SPACE WITH NO SOLACE AND EARTH IS FUCKED, AND HE'S GETTING LIKE STOCKHOLM SYNDROME FROM SARASTI, AND I'M SAD. I WANT THIS GUY TO BE OK. TELL ME SOMEONE WROTE A FANFIC WHERE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY ENDING, AND SIRI GETS LOTS OF HUGS.

( I still think the book is awesome and would definitely read it again even tho i was feeling traumatized at the end)

Meal plans

I'm an off-campus student and was wondering if I should get the meal plan Specifically the dining points plan B or C because I probably won't be eating at the res. Dining hall I don't know if I should have meal swipes, or how many points in comparison to the dollar amount. Would I be saving money if I just bought the meal plan or just skip it all together?

Gaming PC setup recs

Hey i don't use reddit much (like i literally had to make an account for this) but can anyone tell me what pc/pc setup would work best for IN? all of my searching has shown me its a pretty demanding game and i was thinking of getting a Starforge navigator 3 pc (bc I'm new to pcs and I'm scared to set it up myself lol) but i don't know what i should get in terms of a monitor

something i forgot to mention**

i was also curious if it would be a better option to get a really good gaming computer instead ( and if anyone has any recs I am working over the summer and can save up most of the money i make so its really a question of pc vs gaming laptop and pros and cons of both

ok i know i keep editing this but whatever, I calculated and i would have a lower upfront cost buying a pc setup with it running me about 300 - 400 initial set up, and depending on how i would finance the pc it would be around 65 to 167 a month after. However in the long run it would cost me less to buy a gaming laptop for around 1k altogether for something like an asus a15
