Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I was having difficulties finding a clear way to go about doing this or if it was even possible in the time given. I am over 18 and my biological father has been married to my step-mom since I was basically a toddler. My biological mother passed away several years ago but my step-mom has always been my “mom.” We have never officiated her adopting me, but I know it would mean a lot to her even though I’m an adult now and wanted to present consent forms for the adoption to her for Mother’s Day. Was wondering what I have to do exactly for that process and if it’s even possible to do in the time allotted? Thank you
