I'm in California. I just filed an HR complaint about my supervisor and a coworker. My statement was 4 pages long and contained 17 emails where I've asked my supervisor for help with this coworker, and she's continuously gaslit me.

Is it illegal to get statements from other coworkers? Or is it illegal to suggest other coworkers file their own concerns with human resources?
