Hi all — I wanted to share a road trip planner website I recently built.
I have 2 kids who hate spending more than 4–5 hours in the car, and one who gets carsick. So every trip becomes a puzzle of stops, hotels, food, timing, and road conditions.
Because in our family, “scenic and winding” is not a feature 😂
I finally got frustrated enough that I decided to build something that plans road trips around real-life constraints:
- shorter drive days
- EV charging
- bathroom/snack stops
- local food
- kid-friendly activities
- or honestly just the fastest way to get there
It’s free to use (I did eventually figure out how affiliate links work and built those in 😂), but honestly I mostly built it for our own trips and thought other planners might find it useful too.
It also works internationally, which I’m weirdly proud of.
