Im looking for some honest advice on whether a $120k deposit is sufficient to enter the property market right now. I’d appreciate insights from those who’ve recently bought or are actively looking.

My situation:

- Deposit saved: $120,000 (I do have an emergency fund)
- Annual income: $140k before tax
- Location preference: South of Perth
- Property type: Likely a 3 or 4 bed house within 40-50km south of Perth
- Buyer status: First home buyer, no existing property
- No debt
