breakthrough bleeding only starts after ive taken the pill??
Ive been on a progrestrone only pill (cerelle) for over a month and I’ve been breakthrough bleeding for over a week. over the last 3 days though, the bleeding has been significantly better and i can sleep overnight wirhout any bleeding. however, after i take my pill at 8.30, then the spotting comes back. it wont be the worst, but by like 10 there is clear blood.
i know its common with the mini pill for breakthrough bleeding but i am in uni and it is so expensive to keep having to get menstrual products when the reason i bought the pill was so i could stop (as well as for protection)
i recently got the yasmin pill, as i read that the combined pill has less chance of breakthrough bleeding.
has anyone experienced similar and made a switch? or did you double up? ive been seeing a lot of posts recommending that but i dont wanna make the bleeding worst when its already so minimal. i also see some people taking a break but i also read you dont really need to do that with progestrone only pills. if i switch, how long would it take to stop the bleeding?
