Hi! My PD is January 21st, its been 16 months with no change in my case other than case was received. I started off as AOS and then moved back to Australia April 2025, we filed with a lawyer and she has notified them a few months ago that I moved, I saw that they touched my case twice since, once in may 2025 and recently in April 27th 2026. Does this mean I have an approval coming soon? It’s nearing 18 months and I’m wondering if we should contact our congressperson now or wait another week or so for approval. It’s already taking way longer than it should and i’m from Australia. Should we just refile since we started as AOS and switched to consular?

the updates i saw were in the code. is there another way to check for approval?
