I’m an elder Millennial with meager savings for my age, but a high savings rate currently.

I was laid off after a PE exit after 14 months in my previous job.

At my current job (also PE-backed), I survived 4 layoffs in 17 months.

I recently took a job at a startup as a Growth Content Marketing Manager. The company seems well funded and also appears to have a resilient business model. They’ve already received their Series A.

I have nightmares about not passing my probationary period and being laid off in general. Three short stints would effectively end my career. I’m not sure this is the right sub, but it’s one of the few ones letting me post for some reason.

Any pearls of wisdom on how to succeed and this particular anxiety in general?
