If someone gets tackled or penalized...and they get a penalty but a better striker can take it. Why should that be allowed? That means its better for a midfielder who isn't good at scoring to try and milk a penalty if he can't get an open pass rather than to just "give it a go"?
As a kid when we played soccer I remember we were getting our asses kicked and no one really knew the rules properly and our Goalie went into crazy mode and ran the ball up himself and side stepped everyone and solo ran 4 goals and we won 4-3. It was the most amazing thing ive ever seen.
But ive never seen the goalie try and do that on a game ive watched on TV. Are they allowed too do that if they actually good enough?
Im trying to get into Soccer but all the fans from my country follow one of 5 or 6 teams and I don't have to list them and you will already know exactly which teams they are.
These teams are supposed to be English clubs but there is almost nothing English about them. The whole thing just seems boring. I was thinking of supporting a club that seems like a bit of a rowdy good time (if I ever end up travelling to see them) such as Millwall. But id be the only one in my entire city who probably follows that team or watches that league so id have no one talk with about it which also seems boring... sad.
Having a hard time which team to go for. Please don't say my local team because no one here watches that either and the quality is awful!
Like why can't Spain beat Cape Verde but England can get 3+ goals against a really good team?
Sell me on a good reason why I should support a certain team or selection of teams.
And counter it with good reasons why I shouldn't support certain other team/s.
