To give context, I graduated in 2022 from UT-Arlington with a finance degree, and have spent 2 of the last 3 years working in property management with a break in between as an ops manager.

I’ve read that it would be best to land compliance & risk roles to help boost my resume, and that becoming a CIA would help out tremendously.

Given my degree, should I look for compliance/risk roles and still get the CIA? Or should I just go for the CIA and start looking for internal auditing positions?
