There’s a girl in my class

Who I only see in my dreams.

She’s so kind, smart, and pretty,

But I’m just me.

How am I meant to talk to someone

Who is my idea of perfect

While I’m so far from it?

It makes me sad

that in a few weeks,

I’ll likely never see her again.
