Tips for incoming grade 12s:
First of all, guys, please don't stress everything will work itself out in the end. Don't let a uni's decision define you as a person
For the AIF, try to start every response with an interesting hook. Speak from the heart, and find ways to interleave your ECs in. Waterloo even has a website with tips for the AIF, use it! Don't use online exemplars, they make you doubt your own writing, and most of them are lowkey horrible. And I can't stress this enough - research your specific program on Waterloo's website! You can use it in question 4.
For any interviews, I'd suggest to not memorize the answers beforehand, as it sounds better when you speak on the spot, trust me. During the prep time, write a few brief talking points on a piece of paper and use those as guidance. Incorporate your ECs in your responses if you can.
Good luck everyone, you got this 😄 lmk if you have any questions
