Not really a theory, so much as an observation.

One of the hidden messages in the ad is “God is a finite state machine.” It’s already been said that a finite state machine is a machine which does not have a memory beyond its current state.

The TRI website says its Intelligence is based on ““Recursive hysteretic states” That is, decision making where memory of decision making is a big deal.

And the intelligence is “afraid of god.”

The intelligences seem to be humans that are controlled by an unthinking or memory-less prompt. The humans experience it over and over, and the prompt of course has no memory or qualia at all.
