Passed the Series 66 - Here’s what to be prepped for.

Passed the Series 66 last week, overall it was easier in difficultly compared to the Series 7

Some things that I would say to expect

KNOW THE ETHICS AND LAWS
Specifically in Kaplan Chapters 6 and 7
-Like it says, 45% of the test is ethics, laws, and registration
- Not a lot of super in-depth stuff, I would know the basics of all the major topics.
-I had MAYBE 1 Question on the Forms (Form Adv, BD, Part 1A etc), still know them but I wouldn’t focus on this.
-Focus on “did this agent act ethically” or “is this an ethical practice” were questions I saw more of

NEXT
- Know the formulas (chapter 8 in Kaplan) in the sense of what they mean, maybe 1 calculation the whole test other than Current Yield.

LASTLY

-The remaining questions about suitablility + products were a 5/10 on the difficultly scale, not super basic like a definition, but just below the surface level.
- If you took the series 7, a majority of what you learned/the easy stuff will be on the test.
-I had no options questions, maybe the luck of the draw.

GOODLUCK GUYS
