I’ve been seeing more and more dead rats randomly on the streets in and around where i live.

They just randomly show up dead in the middle of the road and don’t look harmed or attacked.

Could this be a disease? Are they being poisoned?

Every time i see them, they’re always drenched in sewer water and they appear to have come out of the water and died somehow.
