Debating Windsor Single or Dual
Hello, I have recently gotten offers from UWindsor for both dual and single JD programs. I am considering working in the US as a possibility (really only thinking about New York). I know a lot of people consider the dual to be expensive and not worth it. But, I did get a large scholarship (50% off tuition for Detroit Mercy, still have to pay 100% for Windsor simultaneously) as a Dean's scholar. However, I worry about maintaining academic standing to keep this scholarship, as it is said to be more demanding than a single JD. I think it could be good for networking. But, I also know you can work in NY without the American JD, and that better grades would make me stand out more. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts/opinions/advice as the deadline to accept Dual is in a day or so (provisionally accepted single). I am very torn.
